InnoSource is seeking applicants to join the Product Evaluation Department as part of Goodyears R&D organization.              

We are looking for individuals interested in a long career with one of the worlds most recognized brands, Goodyear! If performing after approximately 6-12 months this position will turn into a full-time salaried position with Goodyear. Once a salaried employee, this position has several opportunities for promotion. Goodyear’s Tire Testing and Materials Technician’s average service is currently 18 years, proving this is a great place to establish an exciting and rewarding career.

Education beyond a high school diploma will be additionally compensated, i.e. Associates ($20/hr) or Bachelor’s ($21/hr).  

The Product Evaluation Department is responsible for the testing needs of all tires 
developed in its North American Innovation Center, including passenger, light truck, 
aircraft, radial medium truck, race, and off-road construction tires.

Key Responsibilities - Research & Development: Tires and Materials Testing Technician - $19 to 21/hr + Benefits

  • Identifying test tires via mount request and test request sheets
  • Mounting and dismounting tires on test equipment
  • Measuring and collecting data as tires are testing
  • Detecting malfunctions of machines that may affect test results

Required Skills and Knowledge- Research & Development: Tires and Materials Testing Technician - $19 to 21/hr + Benefits

  • *Availability to work 3rd shift is required*
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Capability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs.

Education and Experience - Research & Development: Tires and Materials Testing Technician - $19 to 21/hr + Benefits

  • High School Diploma
  • Post-secondary education (preferred)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's (preferred)
  • Automotive, mechanical, or industrial experience (preferred)

  • $19/hr to $21/hr
