Are you an experience Maintenance Lead or Supervisor looking for a long-term Management opportunity? Our Fortune 500 client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Maintenance Area Manager for their manufacturing plant in Danville, VA!

Key Responsibilities - Manufacturing Maintenance Area Manager

• Manage hourly skilled associates
• Manage day to day operations which includes Break downs, preventative maintenance and projects
• Pay associates
• Provide maintenance knowledge and specialized experience to diagnose and develop solutions to equipment breakdowns in order to reduce on-call demand on limited Engineer assets
• Fill out vacation request
• Assist with obtaining parts
• Manage labor and maintenance costs to ensure budgetary guidelines and goals are achieved.

Required Skills and Knowledge- Manufacturing Maintenance Area Manager

• Able to use, problem solve, and program PLCs
• Able to read and accurately interpret electronic and mechanical drawings
• Leadership Skills
• Organizational Skills

Education and Experience - Manufacturing Maintenance Area Manager

• Must have 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Trade school or Associate Degree Required
• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent Required 

Benefits and Pay - Manufacturing Maintenance Area Manager

Pay: $33/hour

Hours: 12 hour shifts, and overtime available!
