Quality Associate

Do you have strong attention to detail skills? We are currently seeking Quality Associates to join our manufacturing testing team! As a Quality Associate, you ensure that the quality of the product is perfect for our customers!

Key Responsibilities - Quality Associate

  • Facilitate and perform cut tire section analysis (CTMS) on Medium Radial Truck Tires and radial and bias AERO tires.
  • Coordinate activities with other DOT Lab personnel to ensure that all CTMS requirements and release tests are performed according to defined procedures.
  • Perform set-up checks on scanners and test equipment. Update software when required.
  • Operate test equipment (Instron, Flatbed Scanner)
  • Determine AERO Lot Test frequency.
  • Cut section analysis using computer and calibrated pointers.
  • Maintain all AERO Lot Test results. File and archive according to procedures.
  • Interact with tire designers on measurements outside limits that require corrective action.
  • Initiate a Stop Shipment when required.
  • Issue Off-Test Reports.
  • Interact with hourly associates to facilitate getting the appropriate sections cut from tires in order to complete job tasks.
  • Interact with corporate departments on test results, problems, recommendations for improvements. Issue HELP tickets for all computer issues that can’t be resolved locally.
  • Reporting of all Lab testing statistics and out of conformance test results, both weekly and monthly.
  • Input all test results into the corporate Tire Test System (TTS)
  • Maintain work area housekeeping.
  • Comply with all required safety protocols (PPE and mandatory training)
  • Ensure up-to-date calibration of equipment and tools utilized in performance of job responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management.

  • Basic math skills required
  • Proficient computer skills (Word and Excel)
  • Willing to work extra hours when needed
  • Self-motivated and has ability to work independently and with a team

  • Practices safety behaviors and guidelines

Education and Experience - Quality Associate

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Prior lab experience required

Benefits and Pay - Quality Associate

  • $19.00/hr,
  • 8 hr/day, 7:00am-3:00pm
