Key Responsibilities - Manufacturing Coordinator

• Transform the ticket needs into an unable & accurate plan the plant floor associates can be used to produce needed product. Drive improvement strategies to the shop floor within the plant planning systems.
• Works closely with Manufacturing Control Coordinators & planning team members to ensure focus is maintained to ensure the plants internal needs are met as well as (Working closely with?) external customers.
• Leadership responsibility & accountability for teaching & coaching shop floor associates on the planning & ticketing processes within the facility.
• Promote & be engaged in further implementation of efficient planning systems, including standard work, Kanban systems & other pull/lean systems. Engage in high quality analysis of plant planning operations to identify improvement initiatives.
• Participate in systems that continuously improve the movement of product through the facility. Perform & execute all other duties assigned by direct leadership.

Required Skills and Knowledge- Manufacturing Coordinator

Must be able to work 2-2-3 production schedule. 12 hour shifts day and night availability needed. 

• Strong organiziational skills
• Computer skills
• Prior knowledge of using a Kanban system is a plus

Education and Experience - Manufacturing Coordinator

• High school diploma/GED
• Plant/manufacturing experience preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain/planning field

Benefits and Pay - Manufacturing Coordinator

• Starting Pay is $17/hr, once training is complete pay will be raised to $19/hr
