UX Content Designer

Responsible for developing and implementing the creation, editing, delivery and maintenance of useful and relevant content for the company website and a few other digital product areas.

Key Responsibilities - UX Content Designer

• Be a strong advocate for the content throughout the life of a project
• Provide the background research and analysis that stakeholders need to make smart decisions about content
• Creates recommendations for the content based on business and user needs
• Ensure there is a plan for maintaining content post-launch
• Work as a member of a user experience team in collaboration with information architects, interaction designers, visual designers, and researchers
• Collaborate with business segment specialists and marketing partners
• Lead content-related efforts
• Develop content that considers business requirements, marketing needs, and user goals
• Create and edit content as needed to support updates
• Keep up-to-date on trends in content management and digital content delivery

Required Skills and Knowledge- UX Content Designer

• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong command of best-practice web content standards
• The ability to act as an advocate for the intended audiences
• Ability to communicate with and operate within a cross-disciplinary team that includes user experience professionals, business specialists, and marketing partners
• Excellent communication, speaking, and presentation skills

Education and Experience - UX Content Designer

• Typically 5+ more years of professional experience in the software or web site development, content creation, database and web technology, research, and user centered design processes.
• Masters degree may be substituted for experience as appropriate. 
• Min of Bachelor's degree required

Benefits and Pay - UX Content Designer

Pay: $45/hour

Hours: 8-5 M-F
