We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our Pharmacy Team in our bustling mail order environment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a pivotal role in pharmacy support, assistance to the pharmacists, patients, and providers.

Training will take place at the location near the airport, and then you will transition to the Hilliard, Ohio location.

Key Responsibilities - Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician your day will include:

• Assisting pharmacists in accurately dispensing medications and preparing prescriptions.
• Managing and maintaining pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and expiration date monitoring.
• Processing prescription orders, inputting information accurately into the computer system.
• Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Maintaining organized and clean workspaces, including the pharmacy counter and storage areas.
• Handling insurance claims and process billing information for prescription orders.
• Maintaining patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information.
• Helping with the packaging and labeling of medications for distribution.
• Following pharmacy regulations and protocols to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Participating in ongoing training and education to stay updated on pharmacy practices and developments.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and medication management.

Education and Experience - Pharmacy Technician

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer support, service, or success roles, preferably in healthcare and/or high-growth startups (1+ years).
• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on details.
• Pharmacy Technician certification is required; assistance can be provided in obtaining this certification.

Benefits and Pay - Pharmacy Technician

The starting pay for this position is between $16.00 and $22.00 per-hour based on experience and performance. We also off a comprehensive healthcare benefits package.
