Are you an experience Maintenance Lead or Supervisor looking for a long-term Management opportunity? Our Fortune 500 client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Maintenance Area Manager for their manufacturing plant in Danville, VA!

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Area Manager

• Manage hourly skilled associates
• Manage day-to-day operations which includes breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and various projects
• Provide maintenance knowledge and specialized experience to diagnose and develop solutions to equipment breakdowns in order to reduce on-call demand on limited Engineer assets
• Assist with obtaining necessary parts
• Manage labor and maintenance costs to ensure budgetary guidelines and goals are achieved

Required Skills and Knowledge- Maintenance Area Manager

• Able to use, problem solve, and program PLCs
• Able to read, accurately interpret electronic and mechanical drawings
• Leadership skills
• Organization skills

Education and Experience - Maintenance Area Manager

• Two (2) to five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, required
• Trade school or two-year associate degree, preferred

Benefits and Pay - Maintenance Area Manager

• Weekly pay, starting at $33 / hour
• Eligibility for PTO and holiday pay
