Key Responsibilities - Senior Accounts Payable Accountant

As a Accounts Payable Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial operations. Reporting directly to the Manager of GBS, your responsibilities will include:

• Daily reconciliation of vendor payments and monitoring of electronic payment rejections
• Monthly GL reconciliations across approximately 100 accounts, including flux analysis
• Analyzing and reporting cash forecasting and monthly results to management
• Engaging in various accounting tasks, including financial analysis, month-end closing, and both internal and external reporting

Required Skills and Knowledge- Senior Accounts Payable Accountant

• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
• Analytical Expertise: Ability to support decisions with logical evidence and present them persuasively
• Interpersonal Skills: Capable of building and maintaining excellent relationships and credibility
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with internal controls in line with SOX requirements

Education and Experience - Senior Accounts Payable Accountant

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, required
  • CPA, MBA, or similar advanced degree, preferred
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis, preferably within a large corporate or manufacturing environment or public accounting firm.

Benefits and Pay - Senior Accounts Payable Accountant

• $30 to $32 an hour starting pay
• Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Hybrid schedule with 2 in-office days and 3 work-from-home days
• Eligible for health insurance, a $25,000 life insurance, and a 50% dental reimbursement program
• Temporary position that is estimated to end around late February 2025
