Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking Maintenance Specialists at a Tire Manufacturing Plant in Danville, VA.

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Specialist

• Lead and maintain equipment modifications to comply with all safety, environmental and other regulatory compliances
• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of maintenance strategies and work management systems in the maintenance shop, delivering safe, cost effective and reliable equipment performance to ensure operational safety, cost control, reliability and production targets are met or exceeded
• Form and maintain good relationships with all external service providers and management team members
• Assist and support the site in implementing best in class maintenance systems and processes

Required Skills and Knowledge- Maintenance Specialist

• Electrical / PLC knowledge, strongly preferred
• Leadership skills
• Logistics / procurement knowledge 
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift, continuous operation

Education and Experience - Maintenance Specialist

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Previous manufacturing / warehouse experience, preferred

Benefits and Pay - Maintenance Specialist

• Weekly pay, starting at $32 / hour
  • Pay may be negotiable
• Eligible for PTO and holiday pay
