Shift details: Full-time employees will work 40 hours per week in office. 

• Monday-Friday hours, 11am-7pm EST. 

Key Responsibilities - Pharmacy Specialist / Pharmacy Assistant

As a Pharmacy Specialist / Pharmacy Assistant, your daily responsibilities will include: 

• Prescription Intake: Receive and process new prescriptions, ensuring all required details are complete and accurate.
• Data Entry: Accurately input prescription details into the pharmacy management system, including patient information, medication specifics, dosage, and prescriber data.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth intake process.
• Verification: Confirm prescription information with healthcare providers as needed. 
• Documentation:  Maintain clear, accurate records of all prescription intake activities and communications.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to incomplete, unclear, or missing prescription information.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Compliance: Follow all regulatory guidelines and company policies, including HIPAA, to ensure patient privacy and data security.

Education and Experience - Pharmacy Specialist / Pharmacy Assistant

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have, at minimum, a Pharmacy Technician Trainee license.
• Previous experience in data entry, customer service, pharmacy technician or success roles, preferably within healthcare and/or high-growth startups (minimum 2 years).

Benefits and Pay - Pharmacy Specialist / Pharmacy Assistant

The starting pay for this position is between $16.00 and $20.00 per-hour based on experience and performance. We also off a comprehensive healthcare benefits package.
