We are currently seeking a customer focused individual in Harrison, Arkansas! You will be part of a team using your experience to provide support to other team members with day-to-day warehouse tasks. (No travel required).  Regular day shift hours and great benefits. 

Key Responsibilities - IT Field Configuration Tech

• This position will be for a configuration technician at the FedEx Freight location in Harrison, AR. The ideal candidate is  someone with technical knowledge and experience working hands on with various devices (desktop, laptops, printers, dock door PCs, communications equipment). You will be responsible for fulfilling requests submitted through EPDSM and shipping the requested items to the assigned user. They will also help coordinate sending devices back for repair and perform those repairs to FedEx standards.

• Configuring, deploying and installing desktops, laptops, thin clients and printers that are to be deployed to various sites all over the country and some parts of Canada
• May provide some remote support if there is an issue with the new device once the user receives it
• Helping both in-office corporate employees as well as remote workers
• Typically all Dells (or similar) and a rare, occasional set-up of Macs

Required Skills and Knowledge- IT Field Configuration Tech

• Professional phone/email etiquette
• Good organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment is a must.

Education and Experience - IT Field Configuration Tech

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required 

Benefits and Pay - IT Field Configuration Tech

• $17.50 an hour starting pay
• Daytime schedule (8 AM to 5 PM)
  • Monday through Friday
