Key Responsibilities - Forklift Operator (Sit-Down Electric)

• Operate a midsize electric sit-down forklift safely and efficiently

• Transport materials (primarily tires) to and from various production lines

• Ensure curing presses remain properly stocked to avoid downtime

• Minimize delays by maintaining consistent productivity and workflow

• Follow all forklift operating procedures, plant safety protocols, and OSHA regulations

• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of the forklift and work area

Required Skills and Knowledge- Forklift Operator (Sit-Down Electric)

• Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience in an industrial setting

• Must be able to pass a forklift certification test

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks

• Must be able to work independently in a high-production environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Good attendance and punctuality are essential

Education and Experience - Forklift Operator (Sit-Down Electric)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet production workflow with quality assurance, safety-minded, and attention to detail.
• Abide by and follow all OSHA rules and regulations.

Benefits and Pay - Forklift Operator (Sit-Down Electric)

• Must have open availability as the plant is open twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
• $17 / hour starting pay rate | Weekly Pay
