Key Responsibilities - Hardware Returns Technician

    • Approving hardware return requests.
      • Investigate and verify contact information and correct serial numbers are in the database for corporate and field sites.
      • Follow up email and phone calls to verify information and track inbound packages
      • Initiate and maintain contact with users regarding timeliness of returns.
      • Create hardware returns for field sites as requested.
      • Collaborate with management and technicians to initiate best practices for project orders and refresh initiatives.
    • Reviewing and approving change requests
      • Verify record change requests (contact info, Network info, etc.) are accurate and valid
    • Prepare and present weekly report to EUS Asset Management Team
      • Track weekly and monthly hardware returns trends and make recommendations to efficiently reduce amount of open hardware returns.
      • Assist in compiling list of assets to be decommissioned.

Required Skills and Knowledge- Hardware Returns Technician

  • Previous IT experience, preferred
  • Ability to lift or move fifty (50) pounds occasionally (i.e., printers)
  • Ability to sit / stand for long periods
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Education and Experience - Hardware Returns Technician

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required 
  • One (1) year of relevant IT / computer experience, preferred but not required

Benefits and Pay - Hardware Returns Technician

  • Daytime schedule (8 AM to 4 PM)
    • Monday through Friday
