FirstEnergy is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Room Clerk III to join our team in Fairmont, WV at a pay rate of $18.00/hour. This onsite role supports essential mail services and administrative operations across the organization. Sort and distribute incoming interoffice and U.S. mail
Accept, log, and deliver incoming packages (UPS, FedEx, Office Depot)
Apply postage to outgoing mail and process UPS shipments
Perform clerical and administrative duties (data entry, filing, invoice processing)
Provide department support (calendar management, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements)
Produce correspondence, reports, and presentations using office software
Maintain excellent internal and external customer service
Follow safety procedures and handle confidential information
Assist in team tasks and support workflow improvements
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong computer and typing skills
Professional Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Team player with a customer-focused attitude
Ability to safely lift/move items up to 75 lbs.
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 4–7 years of relevant work experience in mail services, administrative support, or a related field
Competitive pay rate of $18/hour
Full-time, stable work schedule (no weekends)
