Key Responsibilities - HR Consultant

  • Act as a trusted first-line and escalation partner for recruiters and TA leaders, resolving operational questions quickly and confidently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Workday Recruiting — including candidate movement, start dates, assessments, and rehire eligibility.
  • Identify root causes of recurring issues, document findings, and implement process improvements that elevate team performance.
  • Partner with TA leadership to support data requests, reporting, and preparation of executive-ready materials.
  • Maintain and enhance SOPs, workflows, job aids, and documentation to ensure clarity and scalability.
  • Support system enhancements, backlog coordination, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for recruiting technology improvements.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects with clear tracking, accountability, and follow-through.

Education and Experience - HR Consultant

We’re seeking someone who combines analytical thinking with operational excellence:

  • 5+ years of experience in business consulting, HR/recruiting operations, process analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to diagnose issues and uncover root causes.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting HR technology systems (Workday Recruiting or another ATS preferred).
  • Familiarity with Jira or other project management tools is a plus.
  • Experience with UAT, process documentation, and workflow design (SOPs, decision trees, job aids).
  • Ability to create or interpret process maps using tools such as Visio or Figma preferred.
