Credit Resolution Specialist

The CRS provides solution-based service to customers by researching and resolving credit-related issues, processing credit requests, and acting as a key liaison between customers, plants, CSRs, and internal teams

Key Responsibilities - Credit Resolution Specialist

  • Enter and process all valid credit requests received from Plants, CSRs, and Sales teams
  • Issue credits in Oracle for customers, sales, plant personnel, and CSRs as required 
  • Research and follow up on all issued credits by running open order reports, tracking down responses, obtaining appropriate approvals, and validating credit necessity 
  • Coordinate with plants and yards across the territory to ensure credits are issued in a timely mannermonitor open order reports and follow up on aging RMAs 
  • Assist CSRs with credit-related inquiries as needed 
  • Report any potential policy violations or misconduct to the Customer Service Manager 
  • Identify process issues and recommend improvements to credit processing workflows 
  • Back up the Deduction Specialist in credit entry as needed

Required Skills and Knowledge- Credit Resolution Specialist

Core Systems Knowledge: 

  • Oracle 
  • Salesforce
  • Esker
  • Microsoft Office Suite 

Specialized Skills:

  • Accounting / Finance knowledge 
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Negotiation Skills 
  • Strong analytical and research capabilites 

Education and Experience - Credit Resolution Specialist

  • High School Diploma / GED required 
  • Some college coursework in Accounting or Finance preferred; equivalent experience in a related field accepted in lieu of formal education
  • 2+ years of prior customer service or similar experience required 
  • Prior experience with Oracle and Microsoft Office strongly preferred 
  • Experience in credit resolution, billing, or accounts receivable is a plus

Compensation: $19.25 / hour
