Safety Manager

The Health & Safety Coordinator supports the implementation, administration and continuous improvement of the site's Health & Safety Systems & Programs. This role works closely with operations, to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements while promoting a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, risk reduction, and continuous improvement. This role serves as a visible safety leader by conducting routine inspections & investigations, coordinating safety training, and assisting with corporate and plant Health & Safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities - Safety Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all associates meet plant safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Submit monthly safety reports to the Management Team.
• Conduct routine safety audits for PPE, LOTO, housekeeping, and related areas.
• Collaborate with the management team to update, maintain, and improve safety procedures.
• Perform investigations and risk assessments as required.
• Collect, implement, and analyze data, working with the team to identify trends and focus on key safety areas.
• Partner with the management team to deliver safety training, meetings, and new‑hire orientation.
• Align communication between InnoSource and the customer regarding safety matters.
• Possess knowledge in the following areas: confined spaces, hazardous communications, LOTO, electrical safety, industrial power vehicles, emergency response, emergency evacuation planning, hot work, heat stress, and stop‑work authority.

Required Skills and Knowledge- Safety Manager

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Minimum of 2 years of safety experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance
• Conducting safety inspections and audits
• Incident and accident investigations
• Root‑cause analysis
• Developing and delivering safety training
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Managing PPE programs
• Forklift safety operations
• Emergency response planning

Education and Experience - Safety Manager

Education

• High School Diploma required
• Associate's degree in occupational safety & health or relevant field preferred but not required

Experience

• 2 years of safety experience preferably in manufacturing

• Hourly Rate: $30–35 per hour, full‑time, paid weekly
