The LIMS Administrator (Laboratory Information Management System) and Grading Release Technician is responsible for managing laboratory software to ensure accurate sample tracking, streamlined workflows, and data integrity. This role also includes grading and releasing finished products and outgoing material streams.
LIMS System Administration:
Manage user access, permissions, and system configurations to support secure and efficient operations.
Data Integrity & Management:
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of all data within the LIMS platform.
Workflow Optimization:
Maintain and enhance laboratory workflows to improve efficiency and traceability.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve LIMS-related issues to minimize downtime and support lab productivity.
Reporting & Analysis:
Generate reports and extract insights from LIMS data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
User Training & Support:
Train laboratory personnel on LIMS functionalities and provide ongoing user support.
System Upgrades & Implementation:
Assist with testing, validating, and deploying system upgrades or new LIMS implementations.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all LIMS activities meet applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
Hands-on experience with LIMS administration and/or product release in a manufacturing or lab environment
Knowledge of laboratory workflows, data handling, and regulatory requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
