American Electric Power (AEP) is one of the largest electric utilities in the U.S. We are growing and we want YOU to grow with us! These are DIRECT HIRE, FULL TIME positions – you will become an AEP employee on Day One! We offer a comprehensive training program, and our next class begins November 10th, 2025 (must be available on November 7 for meeting with technical team).

As a Customer Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met with care and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities - Direct-hire Positions Available with American Electric Power (AEP) for Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) Customer Operations Associates!

• Interact with customers via phone to assist with inquiries and resolve issues.
• Provide accurate information regarding orders, billing, and other account management tasks.
• Demonstrate empathy and understanding in all customer interactions.
• Document customer interactions and follow up as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to improve customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Must speak Spanish and English fluently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Continuous learner mindset.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
