Key Responsibilities - Part-Time Pharmacist Position

What Your Day Will Look Like:

  • Verify medication orders and products with precision and a strong commitment to safety.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and providers to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Dispense and manage medications using Omnicell systems.
  • Support antimicrobial stewardship efforts to promote responsible medication use.
  • Assist with technical tasks such as filling, repackaging, and distributing medications.
  • Partner with the Director of Pharmacy and team to meet evolving patient care needs.

Required Skills and Knowledge- Part-Time Pharmacist Position

What You Bring

  • Active North Carolina pharmacist license.
  • Experience in inpatient and behavioral health pharmacy settings.
  • Proficiency in HCS and Omnicell (or Pyxis) systems.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, per-need environment.

Benefits and Pay - Part-Time Pharmacist Position

What We Offer:

  • Shifts schedule primarily within Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
  • Weekend shifts: 7:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., as needed.
