Corporate Programs Manager

This position is defined as full-time employment within HNS Sports Group assigned to contribute to the management of corporate meeting programs with a secondary focus on professional and collegiate golf tournament special event management. 

HNS’ Manager, Client Programs will report to HNS’ COO.

Key Responsibilities - Corporate Programs Manager

Work as a part of the HNS event management team assigned to develop and execute client meetings and special event programs. The primary focus on assigned programs will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Sponsor & Registration Management

  • Support Corporate Programs Director with sponsor registration / activation process
  • Assist with the creation and maintaining / updating of event registration websites and mobile apps
  • Serve as a point of contact for all sponsors, ensuring collection of required information – guest names, RSVPs for invite-only events, hotel room needs, collection of corporate logos, etc.
  • Create and execute sponsor communications prior to, during, and after each event

Event Logistics & On-Site Support

  • Manage hotel room block
  • Assist in the creation and execution of event registration during the event – name badges, fundraising programs, etc.
  • Support Corporate Programs Director with the creation and management of gift programs
  • Source vendors
  • Manage on-site execution of gifting programs
  • Manage post-event reconciliation

Creative & Branding Support

  • Lead in the creation of event branding plans, including collateral materials, signage, and décor
  • Work with HNS creative services team to develop materials – website, signage, collateral materials, etc.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are followed
  • Assist with proofing throughout creative process

Project Planning & Administration

  • Lead in the administration of event workflow / project plans
  • Develop meeting agendas
  • Maintain and update project plans
  • Contribute to the ideation, development, and execution of special events and activities, including:
    • Golf tournaments
    • Attendee activities
  • Lead in post-event reconciliation including the creation, distribution, and analysis of post-event surveys

Required Skills and Knowledge- Corporate Programs Manager

Software & Tools

  • Proficiency with Cvent.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet, Sharepoint / Teams, Powerpoint, Canva, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite

Communication & Professional Skills

  • Service-oriented mentality with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration, with a positive attitude
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to actively listen and contribute feedback to discussions
  • Ability to write and proofread promotional and/or event scripting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Dedicated work ethic with the ability to adapt

Work Style & Contributions

  • Contribute daily with suggestions and recommendations to ensure events operate successfully
  • Work to comply with all standards and expectations set forth by the program host client

Additional Expectations

  • Support other HNS Sports Group projects throughout the year as requested
  • Travel required – approximately 25% of the year based on annual event assignments

Education and Experience - Corporate Programs Manager

Education & Experience

  • Four-year degree required
  • Two to four years of relevant experience with a proven track record in the event industry
