HR Systems Analyst

The HR Systems Analyst supports the HR Operations & Technology function and is responsible for ensuring the effective performance, configuration, and maintenance of key HR technology platforms. This role provides day‑to‑day system support, conducts troubleshooting, develops reporting solutions, and partners closely with HR and IT stakeholders to optimize HCM, ATS, LMS, and time‑tracking systems.

Key Responsibilities - HR Systems Analyst

  • Provide hands-on system administration, configuration, and maintenance for HCM, ATS, LMS, and time tracking platforms.
  • Monitor data imports, exports, and integrations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and successful transmission across systems.
  • Troubleshoot system performance issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve data integrity and efficiency.
  • Support security configuration, role administration, and user access management across HR platforms.
  • Conduct audits to ensure system data accuracy, security compliance, and process consistency.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to enhance system workflows, automate processes, and streamline operational tasks.
  • Support release management activities including testing, validation, documentation, and communication of new features.
  • Train HR staff and end users on system functionality, processes, and best practices.
  • Participate in cross‑functional projects involving system enhancements, integrations, or process improvements.

Required Skills and Knowledge- HR Systems Analyst

  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system issues with a structured, methodical approach.
  • Technical proficiency including API concepts, integrations, data loads, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to create clear process documentation, configuration records, and training materials.
  • Strong collaboration skills with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with a drive to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.

Education and Experience - HR Systems Analyst

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as HRIS, PMP, LSS Belt, or SCRUM are a plus but not required.
  • 3–7 years of experience supporting HR systems.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two of HCM, ATS, LMS, and time tracking platforms.
  • Familiarity with HR data structures, workflows, and integrations.
  • Experience partnering with both HR and IT on system-related initiatives.

Compensation: $36–$40/hour, based on experience
