The Credit Resolution Administrator provides solution-based service to customers by researching and resolving credit-related issues, processing credit requests, and acting as a key liaison between customers, plants, CSRs, and internal teams. This role isn't working with customers via phone, rather doing general administrative tasks related to the credit resolutions side of the business.

Key Responsibilities - Credit Resolution Administrator

  • Enter and process all valid credit requests received from Plants, CSRs, and Sales teams
  • Issue credits in Oracle for customers, sales, plant personnel, and CSRs as required 
  • Research and follow up on all issued credits by running open order reports, tracking down responses, obtaining appropriate approvals, and validating credit necessity 
  • Coordinate with plants and yards across the territory to ensure credits are issued in a timely mannermonitor open order reports and follow up on aging RMAs 
  • Assist CSRs with credit-related inquiries as needed 
  • Report any potential policy violations or misconduct to the Customer Service Manager 
  • Identify process issues and recommend improvements to credit processing workflows 
  • Back up the Deduction Specialist in credit entry as needed 

Required Skills and Knowledge- Credit Resolution Administrator

Specialized Skills:

  • Accounting / Finance knowledge
  • AP/AR/Billing experience ideal
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Strong analytical and research capabilites 

Education and Experience - Credit Resolution Administrator

  • High School Diploma / GED required 
  • Some college coursework in Accounting or Finance preferred; equivalent experience in a related field accepted in lieu of formal education
  • 2+ years of prior customer service or similar experience required 
  • Prior experience with Oracle and Microsoft Office strongly preferred 
  • Experience in credit resolution, billing, or accounts receivable is a plus 

Benefits and Pay - Credit Resolution Administrator

Compensation: $19.25 / hour 

Hours: M-F 8-5
