We’re seeking a seasoned Interim Director of Pharmacy / PIC to oversee our outpatient and emergency department pharmacy operations. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a dynamic pharmacist ready to guide a high-performing team, ensure compliance, and elevate patient care during a critical transition period.

Key Responsibilities - Director of Pharmacy plus PIC

 What You’ll Do

• Lead daily pharmacy operations, including staffing, workflow, and technician supervision.
• Perform dispensing, dosing verification, and direct patient care activities.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams to support strategic goals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in medication verification, order entry, and documentation.
• Provide ED and outpatient support, including oversight of IV infusions.
• Step in for sterile compounding only in emergency situations.

Facility Snapshot:

• Setting: Outpatient & Emergency Department (no inpatient census)
• Systems: Meditech (training provided)
• Automation: Omnicell dispensing cabinets
• Team: Two full-time pharmacy technician FTEs

Required Skills and Knowledge- Director of Pharmacy plus PIC

What You Bring

• Active Michigan Pharmacist License (required)
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience, including IV infusion and ED support
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Meditech and Omnicell systems (training available)

Compensation & Benefits

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
