Lead UX/UI Designer

We are currently looking for a Lead UX/UI Designer to join our creative team and collaborative culture. The associate provides UX lead consulting and services on our website and related sites including user experience design, interaction design and information architecture. Leads project teams to define and document site architecture, navigation elements, content strategy, map user flows, and propose best practices in user experience and interactive design based on a deep understanding of customer needs. Recommends innovative solutions that balance those customer needs with business viability and technical feasibility that provide an exceptional user experience, market differentiation, and efficiency improvements while maintaining brand standards and meeting business objectives.

Key Responsibilities - Lead UX/UI Designer

• Provides user experience design direction to project teams and/or product groups.
• Defines scope and objectives based on user needs and understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Consults on business process analysis and needs assessments, aligning solutions with business goals and initiatives.
• Works with content writers, visual designers, developers, business representatives, and UX researchers to define site functionality, organization and navigation solutions, and participates in research efforts to identify user goals and tasks.
• Recommends innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology and/or content to provide market differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experience.

Required Skills and Knowledge- Lead UX/UI Designer

• Software or website development, thorough knowledge of user experience principles, solid understanding of design or content for current web technologies.
• Knowledge of internet best practices and research principles.

Education and Experience - Lead UX/UI Designer

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree a plus
• 6+ years experience in UX/UI Design

Benefits and Pay - Lead UX/UI Designer

Pay: $50/hour

Hours: 8-5 M-F
