Key Responsibilities - Interim Operations Manager / Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)

What You'll Do 

• Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations, including staffing and scheduling.
• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) ensuring compliance and regulatory readiness.
• Manage purchasing and inventory for efficient workflows.
• Participate in meetings and on-call rotations to support continuity of care.
• Drive team morale, stabilize staffing, and improve communication across departments.

Key Details

• Start Date: Immediately (by Dec. 15 latest).
• Duration: 13-week assignment with possibility of extension.
• Schedule: 40 hours/week, day shift.
• Weekend Coverage: May need to fill in rotating shifts if gaps occur.
• On-Call: Yes, alternating weeks.
• Order Entry System: Epic (training provided).
• Automation: Omnicell (training provided).
• Dress Code: Business casual.

Required Skills and Knowledge- Interim Operations Manager / Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)

What You Bring

• Active Indiana Pharmacist License (required).
• Inpatient pharmacy management experience plus staffing expertise.
• Strong delegation, leadership, and workflow optimization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
